This project was started by the London physical activity group to answer the problems with conflicting messages from organisations involved in promoting activity and active lifestyles. The objective is to:
- focus on the large proportion of people who want to do more activity
- Simplify the messages around physical activity, sport and active recreation
- Cross-promote all partners activities
- Improve the quality of marketing work in London based on the segmentation work that Sport England has done
The goal was to create a set of marketing tools which at least 65 London organisations think improves their marketing.
The Change4Life team are big fans and say "The Promoting Activity toolkit is a great way to bring the Change4Life movement to life in your area. It's the most useful, practical set of tools for promoting activity that we know of."
